Our Transnational Education Forum is open to higher education representatives working in the field of transnational education (TNE).
As part of the Going Global Partnerships programme, the British Council – in partnership with Khazar University – is organising a face-to-face Transnational Education (TNE) Forum to support the development of transnational education in Azerbaijan.
The forum is designed for representatives working in higher education institutions with existing experience in transnational education. The event will feature presentations from experts representing UK universities, including the University of East London (UEL) Global Campus, Heriot-Watt University and Queen’s University Belfast, as well as local universities, who will share best practices in TNE and dual degree programmes. In addition, we will deliver a presentation on the British Council’s TNE strategy.
The event will take place on Tuesday 17 February 2026 from 10.00 to 13.30 at the Radisson Hotel Baku.
Objectives
- Support the development of transnational education between Azerbaijan and the UK.
- Identify mechanisms and tools in higher education systems in both countries that support transnational education.
